Sat, 24 January 2009 On January 17th Matthew Slotover, co-publisher of Frieze magazine and co-director of the London art fair of the same name in Regent's Park, spoke at the launch of Wysing Arts Contemporary. Wysing Arts Contemporary provides a major new platform for artists working at the forefront of contemporary art practice, all of whom are based in the East of England. The inaugural exhibition ANIMATED includes the work of eight emerging artists: Jo Addison, Julie Brenot, Matt Cook, Sarah Evans, Simon Liddiment, Anne-Mie Melis, Alex Pearl & Simon Woolham.
